In an interview on CBS 60 Minutes, the FBI Director Christopher Wray applied the standard line to the question of why there is so much more domestic violence and terrorism. What is the standard US Government sanctioned answer? Blame COVID. Blame it on more gun trafficking across state lines. Or even blame it on more juvenile violence. But never really tell the truth that most of that violence is due to Americans feeling trapped. Trapped by less opportunities for the minorities in this country. Trapped by higher costs for basic costs of living everywhere they turn. And certainly trapped by the feeling that no matter how hard they try, the system only works for the privileged few. Americans will eventually grasp the roots of their anger. And when they do, we better all pray that our corrupt system is able to change course in the middle of a storm.

So far, it’s band-aid time. Give them free money to soothe their anger. But the real problem persists. And no one wants to point the finger at the root of its existence. Why do you think they gave free money during the COVID crisis and only bailed out the big corporations during the 2008 financial crisis? Today, the U.S. Government realizes there is more to angry Americans than the very few who traffic weapons.

COVID may have been the spark that started the fire, but the problem has been the financial onslaught on the American people by runaway lawless capitalism.

AMERICANS VOTE BUT CORPORATIONS DECIDE

The U.S. Government, now under the total control of billionaires and big corporations, permits the very few to write our laws to favor their self-interests. Often, at the expense of the lower income Americans and the middle class.

Americans vote, but they have almost no control over the votes of their representatives. Big business does. This has led to the highest costs in the world for medication. This also led to the most expensive higher education when other civilized countries offer it for little or no money. Americans will eventually grasp the roots of their anger. They will eventually realize that it is our corrupt system that is keeping most of this country chasing their tails for an American dream that works only for the privileged.

Here is a clip from a 60 minutes interview of FBI Director Christopher Wray on why the rising levels of violence in the U.S.

On Easter weekend, the U.S. experienced three mass shootings. Three, folks.

COVID may have been the spark that started the fire, but the problem has been the financial onslaught on the American people by runaway lawless capitalism. It is the gasoline feeding the fire of discontent in America. Unfortunately, neither the government, nor our politicians are willing to hold the cheaters accountable. Why? Because their net worth may suffer.

The genius of Trump is that he harnessed that hate and disillusionment to benefit him personally. Americans will eventually grasp the roots of their anger.

Government officials will not admit a big problem exists because they would admit to the failure of the American experiment. Now gone awry because there are no controls.

It’s the wild, wild west out in the corporate world. Navient and so many others are just corporate gangsters.

NAVIENT REPRESENTS EVERYTHING WRONG WITH THE AMERICAN LAWLESS CAPITALISM

Take, for example, Navient, the company that manages student loans for the U.S. Government. It has been forced to settle, by over three dozen States, for its predatory and illegal lending practices against the most vulnerable in our society. Do you think Navient would stop when their CEO calculates it was worth paying so little for so much gains? It is a question of time before Navient repeats.

When you receive a slap on the wrist by reluctant politicians who benefit from Navient’s lobbying largesse, the company may determine breaking the law is worth the costs. Should we not throw Jack Remondi, Navient’s CEO, in jail? Look at his profile claiming he is all for student loan reforms. A cheat and a liar too.

Americans are like fish in a barrel ever since Reaganism. After forty years since the open-season policies of Ronald Reagan on the vulnerable and the weak, Americans are realizing their lives are getting worse, not better. The COVID free money and tax breaks, which the rich corporations benefited as much from, are just a band-aid. The anger remains embedded because of companies like Navient that think the law only applies to everyone else.

What is the main reason for so much American anger? Lawless capitalism breaking the laws and no U.S. Government to protect the consumers.

It’s the wild, wild west out in the corporate world. Navient, and so many other entities, are just corporate gangsters.
