President Joe Biden drip-drip foreign policy when it comes to arming Ukraine to win her war against Russia is having a direct impact on his low approval ratings. The longer the war lasts, the more uncomfortable the American voter becomes. Even if that means U.S. military advisers and soldiers are not engaged in the war.

Back in January of this year, we wrote a blog titled “Biden Will Send F-16 Jet Fighters to Ukraine. Eventually”. The last few days proved us right, as the Biden Administration permits our allies to facilitate the transfer of their F-16’s to Ukraine six months after President Zelenskyy requested the transfer.

In Washington, the legendary indecisiveness of the Biden Administration is turning into a cruel joke against Ukraine. We suspect that if six months is how long it takes before Biden makes a relatively important decision on anything, that Ukraine would be asking for more military equipment six months earlier than necessary, knowing well Joe Biden’s molasses-like decision-making process takes that long.

From the Ukrainian perspective, however, better a hesitant Biden than a sold-out Trump who will hand all of Ukraine to Putin.

SAY NO AT FIRST, ALL THE TIMES

This Biden drip-drip foreign policy is impacting negatively;y his presidency and is dragging the war in Ukraine towards infinity. Nonetheless, he does not seem to grasp that his indecisiveness in refusing to open the weapon spigot for Ukraine to decisively win against Vladimir Putin’s terror is bad policy based on bad decisions.

He always says no at first, only to capitulate later once he realizes his mistake. And this is happening again and again. Blame as well Jake Sullivan, his National Security Adviser, who from the get go was pursuing peace plans between Ukraine and Russia, which, at the end, might have included parting ways with Ukrainian lands. Just as appeasers in the not so distanced past in Europe parted ways with the Sudetenland.

The longer the war in Ukraine drags on, the costlier to our treasure and patience. When President Zelenskyy asks for a certain class of weapons, just give it to him as long as he does not attack Russian territories directly. Because of this 6-months delay in providing the F-16’s to Ukraine, Biden just extended the war by at least six months.

One would think the President might learn from his own mistakes, but not in the Biden wishy-washy and indecisive administration. From the Ukrainian perspective, however, better a hesitant Biden than a sold-out Trump who will hand all of Ukraine to Putin. Or, a Ron DeSantis whose position on Ukraine is tantamount to high treason.
