It is coming, folks. With the embedding of the far-right extremist ideologies to look like moderate views, or centrism, America is about to get a rude awakening in what white nationalism is capable of when it comes to repression and violence against all other races and religions. From book banning about black history, racists are now digging deeper into erasing the culture of Jews by also banning books about the Holocaust.
It’s coming, folks. And if you are an American Jew who will be voting for Trump or DeSantis, you do so at your own peril. The one European Jews experienced in 1930 Berlin.
It’s too gory and violent, they will say, for our young urchins to study or examine.
SUBTLE BANNING
Banning Holocaust books is going to experience more subtle oppression by finding a garden variety of other excuses to ban them. Such was the case of “Maus”, a book Art Spiegelman, a Pulitzer Prize winner, wrote, which also mentions the Holocaust. The excuse, according to and was that the book “cited a few curse words, one instance of nudity, and discomfort with the general gruesomeness of the Holocaust.”
Where did this Holocaust book banning take place? Well, Tennessee, of course. One of the most racist states in the Union, which, if given the chance, would legalize slavery.
Fear not, though. Both Trump and DeSantis visited Israel. As if this is a badge of immunity from their hatred and bigotry of Israeli Jews, and that such hollow trips bridge over to protect American Jews.
Keep on dreaming.
We should expect other states to follow soon. Whether before or after the elections remains a mystery. But, if Americans elect either Trump or DeSantis, you are going to witness a scary acceleration of policies to ban students from studying the Holocaust.
It’s too gory and violent, they will say, for our young urchins to study or examine. All the while buying AR/15’s for some target practice on the weekends and some protection from all the blacks and the Jews taking over their country.
