Let’s start with the Biden Administration’s failure to pass The For The People Act, an important legislation to save our democracy from voter suppression; followed closely by the failure to even consider expanding the Supreme Court to protect women’s rights to choose; in addition to the Attorney-General Merrick Garland who seems to be MIA on holding Trump and his allies accountable for a coup against our democracy. How many losses can Biden take before he abandons bipartisanship? You know, the one the Republicans discarded long ago by stacking the Supreme Court in their favor? How many losses, Mr. President?
Add to the above a foreign policy fiasco in Afghanistan, and it seems to me this presidency is in trouble. It is wasting time on trying to gain the trust of ALL Americans at a time when most hardcore Trump era Republicans are snubbing their nose, not just on the common sense act of wearing masks in public, but on everything those blood sucking, baby eating Democrats are trying to do.
Wake up Mr. President. You are dancing Kumbaya in your own scolding cauldron; while Trump and his cohorts are dancing for your upcoming feast.
THE DIVISIONS ARE NOT HEALING
Well, I have news for you. The divisions in this country are not going to heal overnight. Especially not when the previous one keeps upping the ante by spewing more poisonous lies whose aim is to weaken our democracy for the easy taking the Fuhrer Trump is planning down the road.
Wake up Mr. President. You are dancing Kumbaya in your own scolding cauldron; while Trump and his cohorts are dancing for your upcoming feast. This is the story of GOP men who dangle balls of steel, and the Democrats who dangle their Oeufs a la Coque balls.
So, the question remains: How many losses can Biden take before he starts acting as the winner of the 2020 elections? Has he not learned anything from President Obama’s first two years in office?
Mr. President, bipartisanship has become the exception, not the norm. Trying to force it upon a restless American public eager to see their rights protected will surely backfire big time come 2022 and 2024.
The Republicans see it, but this White House is still stuck in the 80’s.
