Is the US an Honest Broker, or a Genocidal Perpetrator?

How many times diplomatic missions around the world have heard the moniker “honest broker” to describe the U.S. diplomacy, especially with regard to its mission of solving the Israeli-Palestinian divide? Those two words used to come to mind every time the U.S. inserted itself in negotiations, or diplomacy, anywhere around the globe, however insincere the conclusions were. No matter what outcome anyone expected in the past, during the horrible presidency of Joe Biden, today one is more inclined to ask: Is the US an honest broker, or a genocidal perpetrator.

The answer is a definite genocidal perpetrator. There is nothing honest about the United States supplying a war criminal with an endless supply of weapons to kill civilians deliberately.

There is nothing honest or moral about the United States arming Israel with the equivalent of four atomic bombs it has dropped on Gaza to murder women and children, journalists and healthcare workers, U.N. personnel and charity workers.

Decidedly, Israel has not even spared the lives of American citizens, or foreign aid workers while lending a hand to the starving children. And if polio had not affected Israel itself, Netanyahu would have never permitted the United Nations to vaccinate the children of Gaza.

KILLING THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE IS A GOAL

In an article entitled “Can the World Save Palestine from US-Israeli Genocide?” which Medea Benjamin and Nicolas J.S. Davies penned for CounterPunch, they expressed in it how the killing of Palestinians has become the aim of both Israel and the United States.

Both wrote:

President Biden can claim to be exercising a certain kind of international leadership, but it is not the kind of leadership that any American can be proud of. The United States has muscled its way into a pivotal role in the ceasefire negotiations begun by Qatar and Egypt, and it has used that position to skillfully and repeatedly undermine any chance of a ceasefire, the release of hostages or an end to the genocide. In other words, Joe Biden is using the excuse of ceasefire negotiations to further his goals of complicity in the genocide of Gaza.

Because of this new genocide perpetrator role, the United States, in one year, has depleted all its international goodwill credit across the globe. Countries today either refuse to yield under its pro-Israel pressure — Ireland, Norway, and Spain come to mind — or, for the smaller and weaker countries, have to blackmail the U.S. for more aid to side with Israel.

Joe Biden has let Israel drag our country to a pariah state, and he seems oblivious to his final act of infirmity and decrepitude.

Anyone still has a doubt how treacherous his presidency has been to our country? The man has been a walking disaster on foreign policy from the day he embraced Benjamin Netanyahu, whose ideology of death seems to fit Biden like a glove.
