Jake Sullivan Wants Ukraine to Make Peace With Putin

Sometimes, you read or hear something by a U.S. official and you cannot help but scream “Are you kidding me?”. That’s exactly what happened when I read that Jake Sullivan, our National Security Adviser, implied on CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday something out of Chamberlain’s book of horrors. Jake Sullivan wants Ukraine strong enough to make peace with Putin. All the sanctions, all the weaponry, and all of the U.S. assistance we have provided Ukraine is for Jake Sullivan to submit Ukraine to Putin’s whims. People like the fainthearted Jake Sullivan never learn from history. The man does not understand that only the full defeat of Putin’s army would make the world a safer place.

Thank God for Liz Cheney who reminded him pronto. She responded this way.

Any wonder Joe Biden’s polling numbers are tanking? Look no further than to the timidity of Sullivan to understand the mindset of the powerful when they are gripped with fear. Sullivan should not have such responsibilities with this mindset. Period.

I think all the Democratic Senators should pen a letter to President Biden asking him to replace Jake Sullivan with someone with bigger balls.

TALK TO THE LAWYERS

People in Washington are beginning to realize that the early hesitations the Biden Administration exhibited in helping the Ukraine were the results of one man in his administration. That of Jake Sullivan.

When the Ukrainians were asking for intelligence on Russian tank positions, Sullivan wanted the lawyers to review the data first in order not to provoke Putin. When the Ukrainians asked for more lethal weapons in the early days of the war, Sullivan bulked. He is the sole architect of our policy towards Ukraine to include refusal to admit the country into NATO for fear of, once again, provoking Putin.

How did that work out for you, Jake Sullivan?

Now that the west is beginning to win decisively, Jake Sullivan wants the Ukraine to submit to a Putin peace. For heaven’s sake, how do we give so much responsibility to people like Sullivan? Should we not, as Liz Cheney so forcefully said, defeat Putin on the battlefield to stop him once and for all?

I think all the Democratic Senators should pen a letter to President Biden asking him to replace Jake Sullivan with someone with bigger balls. We cannot afford to have a National Security Adviser who hides behind lawyers to manage our affairs; or the affairs of our great nation. It’s ludicrous. It’s almost criminal.

Hey Sullivan, if you want to save Putin’s skin, do it when you are a private citizen.
