Lock QAnon Crazies in Rehabilitation Camps

In 1942, President Franklin Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 to intern Japanese Americans in camps for fear of misplaced loyalties even though nothing, at the time, demonstrated any signs of their disloyalty. Just the opposite, in fact. The internment was a reaction to Pearl Harbor. Should we not consider then that the Insurrection of January 6 warrants a similar policy as controversial as this may sound? Should we not lock QAnon crazies in rehabilitation camps to re-educate the lot about using logic and reason as conductors for smarter and more productive living? You would be surprised how deprived these people are of Serotonin.

Today’s laws may not permit such a solution. Some may even call it a transgression. Since Congress intends to write new domestic terror laws, it is important to consider such a venue. It seems, after all, that the White Supremacist, Neo-Nazi nationalists, and Trump magnets have spread beyond our control. Short of re-educating them how to use their brains, this nation faces an implosion the more time we let slip through our fingers.

The FBI placing some of them who stormed the Capitol in jails does not address the bigger problem. They are growing and multiplying to the point of no return.

Not only would we re-educate the QAnon and the white nationalists about racism and bigotry, but we could also eradicate antisemitism through compassion and empathy.

VOLUNTARY EXPERIMENT

The Biden Administration could start such rehabilitation camps by seeking paid volunteers. These are individuals who follow QAnon leaders because of hollow living, but whose propensity to flip are quite high. That should begin the process, which might lead us to eventually locking up the hardcore cases in the rehabilitation camps for years by addressing the brain flaws they have been carrying throughout their lives. Fill their emptiness with purpose based on logic, and maybe we can save this nation from Donald Trump and his ilk.

Imagine the impact of such rehabilitation would have on our nation. Not only would we re-educate the QAnon and the white nationalists about racism and bigotry, but we could also eradicate antisemitism through compassion and empathy. If these internment rehabilitation camps can manage this turnaround, would they not be better than prisons, which will only produce more QAnon adherents based on real prison data and experiences?

On that note, this is not an idea for some well-connected white billionaire to sell to our government for their own profits. This is something that only a government can do without involving the private sector. Remember the abuses of private prisons. One case in particular, dubbed “Kids for Cash“, had tow corrupt judges lock up juveniles in return for under-the-table cash.

Recently and unceremoniously, President Biden signed an Executive Order banning private prisons. We have but one choice: Lock QAnon crazies in rehabilitation camps. To include Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

So if the US Government is already locking up in secret prisons what they dub as domestic terrorists, internment camps for QAnon crazies should be welcomed news.

SECRET PRISONS OR INTERNMENT CAMPS?

The U.S. Government has secret prisons for extremist Muslims and environmental activists they call domestic terrorists. Listen to what Will Power, a journalist, said about these secret prisons the call the Communications Management Unit (CMU’s):

So if the US Government is already locking up in secret prisons what they dub as domestic terrorists, internment camps for QAnon crazies should be welcomed news. We have no choice but to address this dangerous belief system in our society.

To get started, I would trade prison time for Trump to become the first citizen to enroll for such a rehabilitation. OK. OK. Sorry, I could not resist the irony of such a coercive idea as implausible as it may seem. But hey, what is imagination for if not to make us feel good once in a while. Just imagine. Trump in a rehabilitation camp learning to say: “I, Donald J. Trump, think I am a smart guy able to think for myself”. Priceless, folks. I would pay a pretty penny to hear him say it.

Our nation must deal with the fallout from Trump hoisting White Supremacy and conspiracy-laden crazies willing to storm our Government to a national menace. We must address ways to re-educate and rehabilitate these people to think intelligently.

I personally believe rehabilitation camps is the answer. It certainly beats secret prisons.
