Vivek Ramaswamy, the darling GOP presidential contender of the far right, is making lots of heads turn. He has positioned himself as a spoiler, and given his intelligence, he is either not savvy enough politically, or he truly believes, by riling Democrats, he could really have a chance at riding the wave of fame. All the way to the White House, mind you. Or, maybe he is running because he is another narcissist nincompoop. Ramaswamy is the fool on the hill pretending he lives in Utopia, which justifies his utopian ideas and policies that he has been passing like ketchup in a hamburger joint.
No one really cares about Vivek. For the far right, intelligence, in U.S. politics, is a liability because most voters in that class are clueless fools. Racist clueless fools, we might add, who will never send a brown-skinned fellow to the White House. These are not the same people who voted for Barack Obama. The majority of them are white, angry, and outright hostile of others people or cultures.
Why is he running then, knowing well the kind of voters he is chasing are not the kind to put a man with his skin color in the White House?
NOT A CHANCE, MAN
The most Vivek might get out of his campaign is that, past 2024, most of his neighbors might recognize him as he walks the neighborhood to wish him “good morning”. Alternatively, he will probably also become the poster child of the far right trying to convince the brown people in America that their Caucasian rule with an iron fist is for their own best interests. Just like slavery was a job fair in the Ron DeSantis twisted world.
The last this country needs is another pro-Trump politician spreading the lies of his cult, and Ramaswamy feels comfortable fitting the bill. That’s on us if we encourage any Trumpist diktat. It is on us if we allow fringe politicians to raise the flag of Donald Trump to ride on his coattails of fraud and deceit. So, no. No, for Vivek the man, and no for his ideas. And certainly no for letting Donald Trump off the hook instead of attacking him directly for breaking our country apart.
We don’t need more of these people. We require more people like Chris Christie, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and Mitt Romney. Honest brokers who will know the country is heading in the wrong direction as long as people like Trump and DeSantis remain in politics, or an influence on other politicians.
Unfortunately, we do not have that in Vivek. What we have is another pro-Trumpist fool who thinks he cannot pass this opportunity to seek more fame and fortune. Why is he running then, knowing well the kind of voters he is chasing are not the kind to put a man with his skin color in the White House? For that truth, you have to ask Mrs. Ramaswamy.
Can someone shake that man from his slumber, please?
