There is a dichotomy at play here in Europe and the Middle East for those who see the US and the European hypocrisy between the two wars Israel and Russia are waging. If Israel bombs Gaza and western countries stand by the Israeli terror, so should Russia bomb and occupy Ukraine if we are to apply the same unjustifiable logic that defending one’s lands is a right. Just as Ukraine has the right to defend against Russian aggression, so does Gaza have the right to defend against Israeli brutality and oppression.
Playing for one, and ignoring the other, shows a hypocrisy most fair-minded folks would oppose. And apparently some 153 nations worldwide who stood up to U.S. bullying and Israeli terror on a recent U.N. vote. We are isolating ourselves globally because of Israel, and this will impact negatively our overall foreign policy.
On what legal or reasonable grounds does the U.S. stand by when it supports Ukraine against Russian hostilities, while, at the same time, supports Israeli terror against Gaza? When Israel terrorizes Gaza with impunity, why should we care when Russia terrorizes Ukraine.
We are giving our rights away to Israel.
ENOUGH WASTING TAXPAYER MONEY ON FOREIGN AID
So far, Ukraine has cost U.S. taxpayers over $75 billions in total commitments, be it aid that come in the form of humanitarian, weapon purchases, or security assistance. Such an amount can go a long way to make housing affordable in the U.S., which would directly impact homelessness, as this article indicates. Instead, we are sending it to a foreign country instead of helping our own.
After Gaza, Punditry is seeing the light. No more aid to Ukraine or Israel.
The same goes for Israel, whom we give almost $4 billion a year in aid. Since WWII, according to a U.S. News article, we have provided Israel with $260 billions. Money that could have helped our own at home. Money that could have been used to subsidize expensive medication for the needy. Instead, we are wasting our tax dollars on a country that is committing genocide. One would understand if our dollars supported peace, but instead, it is supporting crimes against humanity.
No wonder, we need a new world order. This one is broken, and Israel had something to do breaking it when it is Jewish American billionaires who buy our politicians to influence, through AIPAC, the policies to help Israel, against the interests of the U.S. taxpayers. We are giving our rights away to Israel.
We simply can no longer afford such foreign aid largesse while our people suffer the consequences of their own government’s neglect.
WASTED MONEY ON ISRAEL
In addition to the $260 billions, President Biden wants to provide an additional $14 billions to Israel to kill more Palestinian civilians. And if the war continues for a while, as everyone expects it to be, there will be tens of billions more in additional aid in support of Israeli terror. Thanks to Joe Biden, whom we believe is unfit to be President, as he caters to Israeli interests ahead of U.S. interests.
The United States foreign policy of buying security for its allies, and bribing smaller countries with taxpayer money, has to change. We simply can no longer afford such foreign aid largesse while our people suffer the consequences of their own government’s neglect. The American people are not arithmetically ignorant. They fully grasp how damaging it is to our society to waste money on countries that are, indefensibly, harming our national security interests.
The next time the United States needs some countries to vote a certain way at the United Nations, and they give us the cold shoulder, blame Biden and Netanyahu. One is too old to understand what he is doing, and the other is too violent for his own good.
