America is a Sick Country When it Comes to Guns

When it comes to the prevalent violent and repeated use of guns and assault weapons, in addition to their immense distribution networks, America is a sick country. There has been 39 mass shootings in the first three weeks of January of 2023. Just wrap your head around that stat for a moment. That’s 1.8 mass shooing a day. Folks, this is not normal. No other country, not even close, matches the levels of violence that mentally deranged people in America perpetrate against their own. All because one political party has misinterpreted the Constitution to mean that we can all kill each other with an unfettered and unregulated access to weapons of war.

There are two main factors that cause mass killings: 1) easy access to weapons of war and, 2) violent and/or mentally ill people who perpetrate these crimes either out of hate or personal grudges. Most southern states have abandoned their responsibilities to society by regulating guns, or treating the deranged to stem the tide of mass shootings.

Why did the states abandon that responsibility? Because they believe that assault weapon ownership is a necessity for another day of reckoning against the north. It’s a preparatory step just in case civil war breaks out again. Unfortunately, most militias and gun owners in the south are on-board with that mindset. America is a sick country because it supports a policy of deliberate gun distribution and ownership.

Regardless, arming civilians to the teeth does not bode well in the long-run. Not with all the cultural wars the GOP lies are energizing.

THE REPUBLICAN PUSH FOR GUN OWNERSHIP IS A LURKING DANGER

The Republican Party, a pro-business capitalist enterprise on steroids, is messing with deep and dangerous trouble when it invigorates Americans to acquire guns for the possible future use against their own government. All while big American companies, whose donations to the GOP are immense, remain blind to this danger. Most of America’s captains of American industry are too preoccupied projecting the country in increments of three-months at a time, which mimics their quarterly financial goals. Should violence break out en masse, it would be a tad too late to interfere.

The push for gun ownership, in addition to ignoring the violence of mass killings, is a dangerous game considering the mentality of the south and their gun owners. If January 6 proves anything, it is a testimonial of how ready the south is to start violence. Yet, the GOP is showing no concerns whatsoever. The party keeps pushing for guns and lacks the will to control them.

What happens if violence increases to a point of no return? Either the GOP thinks we are way off from that point, or their leadership, in a bubble, are out of touch with reality. They simply don’t understand the abyss, like a concave mirror, is closer than it looks.

Regardless, arming civilians to the teeth does not bode well for America in the long-run. Not with all the cultural wars the GOP lies are energizing. America is a sick country and it is playing with fire.
