The difference between the Republicans and the Democrats during this era of Trumpism is becoming clear as day. It is the difference between harnessing angry voters the Republicans are courting through Donald Trump and President Biden addressing their angst and concerns after 50 years of policies that decimated the middle class in America. One political party is thinking votes regardless of the harm it is causing and the other is thinking to roll back the clock on all the racist, make-the-rich-richer policies this country embraced, which led us Trumpism.
It’s really a race for time. Just like the COVID race we are facing today. Can Biden appease the anger seething below the surface, or will Trumpism triumph by harnessing its power into votes?
Will President Biden assuage the masses through legislation to help the financially strapped middle America, or will Mitch McConnell et. al., keep their foot on the gas pedal to maintain the status quo that led to today’s extreme anger in American life?
Standing in the way of transformational legislation is Senator Joe Manchin who is contributing deliberately much harm to our Republic when he refuses to understand what the last 50 years of bad government did to our country.
Welcome to Frankenstein Capitalism. One that has tipped the scale between harnessing angry voters and solving their problems in favor of more anger and more violence down the road.
WELCOME TO FRANKENSTEIN CAPITALISM
In the eighties and nineties, American corporations, under the cover of globalism, began the largest transfer of American labor to countries like China. To save money, these corporations outsourced their manufacturing to Asian countries, which started eroding our own communities from honest and industrious opportunities that always existed for the middle class. Add Clinton’s NAFTA agreement, which started with Reagan, and which he signed into law in 1993 and America created, between the greed of capitalists and the shortsightedness of its government, the anger we see on display today. One the GOP is content to keep it afloat to harness for votes. The lies they keep spreading is proof enough as to their real intentions.

Congress should work for the American people, and not for the narrow interests of corporate entities out to drain the middle class and impoverished Americans of their hard-earned money. What do you think happens when the U.S. Government does not collect its due taxes from the likes of Amazon? It targets the middle class to replenish its coffers. Jeff Bezos and his billionaire ilk all contributed, indirectly, to the insurrection of January 6.

Biden must forge ahead with fixing the foundational problems of this country that led to the Insurrection of January 6.
BIPARTISANSHIP IS ILL-ADVISED
Standing in the way of transformational legislation to partially give back the people control over their destiny is Senator Joe Manchin who is clueless about the harm he is causing to our Republic when he refuses to understand what the last 50 years of bad government did to our country. He seeks bipartisanship. Under normal circumstances, every American would walk that plank.
The problem is that corporate America and the politicians have done so much damage to our country and society the last 50 years that bipartisanship today will only delay the corrective measures we urgently need to re-balance our economy and to create the conditions for our middle class to prosper again. Seeking bipartisanship today is like the government seeking bids from fire departments to save an already burning house. We don’t have the time for bipartisanship, nor should we seek it.
Biden must forge ahead with fixing the foundational problems of this country that led to the Insurrection of January 6. In fact, we should have started the moment the people’s trust in their own government dipped below 50%. That was a sign that we were in deep trouble.
The COVID Rescue Plan, the For the People Act H.R.1, the Infrastructure Bill, and many coming down the pike are intended to alleviate the burden of everyday American and give them back some powers over their lives. But Joe Manchin, now contributing to the problems this country is facing, wants none of that. His calls for bipartisanship is truly a call to maintain the anger and dissatisfaction many Americans find unacceptable. We must educate West Virginians about the true nature of Joe Manchin, a 100% DINO (Democrat in Name Only).
This is why the work of organizations like Represent.us is vitally important.
