There was a moment, yesterday, at the White House when many realized that the world order has broken down completely. Not only because of the spat between the U.S. President and his counterpart in Ukraine, but, prior also because of the new predatory behavior of the United States with regard to Canada, Greenland, Panama, and now Ukraine. No country is going to be safe from the Trump new order, which leads us to thinking that the EU needs to start planning for its own direction on its own terms. Along these lines, the EU should abandon Israel the way the United States abandoned Ukraine. The Europeans can no longer follow the United States, not take its orders from a hostile White House. Grow a spine on foreign policy, or find yourself become a non-entity competing for relevance.
By abandoning Israel, the EU would send a clear signal that Ukraine matters to the EU as much as Israel matters to the United States. Such a move would turn the pressure on Trump from the Israel lobby in the United States, which is far more effective than the foreign policy of the EU or the incompetent Zelenskyy.
In other words, make Ukraine count via Israel.
The Ukraine rift is step one in a strategy of weakening Europe.
MANY JUSTIFICATIONS FOR ABANDONMENT
We would stating an understatement if we said that there is a ton of reasons the EU could use for abandoning Israel and its policies of terror. From its genocide in Gaza, o breaking the international law in the West Bank, to the ICC calling for the arrest of its leaders in the war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant. There are many justifications for abandonment, as Israel conducts a war against the West Bank to submit its population to its cruel system of apartheid.
Some countries in the EU, like Spain, Norway, Ireland, and even Belgium have already taken the rights steps in that direction. Whether to boycott goods the settlers export to Europe, or recognizing the Palestinian statehood, these countries are on the right side of history.
In fact, we believe the prime ministers of these countries should make the case for abandoning Israel central to any discussions with regard to Ukraine. If not, Trump is coming after Europe one country at a time. He already thinks the European Union was “formed to screw the U.S.”, and he will break that union through divide and conquer.
The Ukraine rift is step one in a strategy of weakening Europe.
To save Ukraine, the EU must call for a two-state solution in Palestine.
TWO-STATE SOLUTION
By abandoning Israel, Europe would breathe life into the concept of a two-state solution between the Israelis and the Palestinians, which has been its most stable foreign policy in the region. Something that the violent extremists in Israel have successfully, with help from the United States, shelved and removed from the table.
Abandoning Israel, in a way, means the two-state solution is alive. Nothing would irk Trump more than the Zionists breathing down his neck on Israel.
To save Ukraine, the EU must call for a two-state solution in Palestine. To show it is serious about saving Ukraine, the EU must arrest Benjamin Netanyahu if he ever flies over its skies.
That should get everyone’s attention, and establish a European foreign policy that actually works for Europe, not just the United States.
