Yes, he pursued and indicted the low-hanging fruitcakes who stormed the Capitol, but not one January 6 leader, planner, or funder has been convicted of the high crime of insurrection. Not one. It’s anyone’s guess what will the Democrats do with Garland in power entrusted with protecting our democracy. Hey Merrick, do you have the guts to lock up Donald Trump, or are you just going to pretend that either you don’t have the authority, or you don’t have the evidence?
Just as Joe Biden is pretending he does not have the authority to cancel student loans, which is driving his popularity down in every poll. Up to 50% less than at their height in January. It’s like our President believes we elected him to protect the interests of banks.
Let’s hope for the sake of history that you do your job Mr. Garland. So far, no indication is clear you are acting to protect this country from another coup should Donald Trump challenge Joe Biden in 2024. Let’s hope you are not the disaster everyone is having this sick feeling you might be.

Just like your typical appeaser, Garland cannot reconstruct another January 6 in his mind post November 5, 2024 elections in which Trump attempts again at dismantling our democracy; but with success this time around.
That’s not how the minds of appeasers work. The most infamous of them all was Neville Chamberlain who believed Hitler would honor the Munich Agreement he signed. Maybe Garland believes that Donald Trump has learned his lesson given the damning information we already know. Maybe Garland thinks Trump has repented for his treachery.
