Israel is Killing Lebanese Civilians. Just Like in Gaza

When Israel announced its intention to push Hezbollah behind the Litani river, it called it a “limited” incursion. But this turned out to be another Israel lie. Not only Israel is fully invading Lebanon, but it has attacked towns and villages across the whole country, and has, more importantly, destroyed a big part of Beirut under the pretext it is targeting Hezbollah weapons. Israel is killing Lebanese civilians deliberately by targeting every region in Lebanon where it believes there are civilian pro-Hezbollah residents or supporters. This is a war crime, pure and simple.

In two weeks, Israel has murdered over 2,100 Lebanese, most of whom are civilians, which also include about 150 children, countless number of women, and over 11,000 injured. Israeli bombs have displaced 25% of Lebanon’s population, which is close to 1.5 million people.

Israel also attacked UNIFIL, whose role as an international UN-mandated force, is to keep peace between Israel and Lebanon. As we write this article, Israel also seems to have killed 2 Lebanese soldiers and injured 3. The Lebanese army is neutral and has remained outside the fray between Israel and Hezbollah.

All of these acts go to show that the new Israel is a terrorist bandit country, which has no respect for any laws and does not deserve to exist in its present form of extremism and inhumane violence.

Hezbollah, Hamas, and pro-Iranian militias from Syria, Iraq, and Yemen are fighting back with missiles and drones.

NO SAFE PLACE

There is no safe place left in Lebanon that Israel has not bombed as it spreads lies that it is attacking the weapons depot of Hezbollah. Israel also attacked churches, schools, clinics, and murdered about 30 healthcare workers so far. Such has become the signature of Zionism, which is now known for attacking defenseless civilians, as it keeps doing in Gaza and the West Bank.

In return, Hezbollah is only targeting military Israeli sites, and empty settlements. But this may change in the future as Hezbollah changes tactics to put more pressure on the Netanyahu government, whose messianic mission is dragging Israel into unchartered territories in which it only dreams of defeating resistance to its apartheid policies.

Israel has been fighting Palestinians since its inception 76 years ago. It never won that battle, nor will it ever win it. There are just too many countries and too many people in the Arab and Muslim world to believe that both the US and Israel can submit them to their will. It will not happen.

Because of that reason, killing civilians becomes a matter of policy for Israel. Netanyahu believes that civilians’ high rate of death might just persuade their political cadres to surrender their freedoms. Again, it will not happen. Hezbollah, Hamas, and pro-Iranian militias from Syria, Iraq, and Yemen are fighting back with missiles and drones.

Israel is responding by mostly killing civilians. Just as it is still doing in Gaza.
