When millions of people are under lock and key, harassed, violently attacked on a daily basis, and imprisoned illegally, Israel has no right to take the October 7 snapshot of history to claim the high road of morality. So, let us cut “Israel has the right to defend itself” crap because if it was not for Israeli apartheid, there would not have been an October 7.

If it were not for the oppression and the daily terror, well-documented in videos of Israeli violent acts against everyday innocent Palestinians, there would not have been an October 7 to start with. Imagine a thief comes into your home, ties your hands behind your back, beats the s*** out of you, which forces you to respond by attacking the thief. In court, the thief claims he had the right to defend himself by killing the homeowner. That’s the story of Israel, which invaded someone’s home and killed one of the homeowners, but now claims it has rights to defend against the remaining homeowner.
