Sanctioning an IDF Unit is One Big Charade

Everyone is talking about the U.S. military upcoming move to sanction an IDF unit named Netzah Yehuda because of its human rights abuses in the occupied West Bank. Benjamin Netanyahu is talking it up, Yoav Gallant is calling Antony Blinken to persuade him to reverse course, and the U.S. media is whipping it up as if Biden discovered Noah’s ark. Sanctioning an IDF unit is one big charade, one big Shakespearean pretence whose aim is to whip up the masses, especially the youngish Gen Z, into believing Joe Biden is a changed man.

Apparently, that unit has been on a rampage of torturing Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. One of the incidents that came to Washington’s attention is when they tied and gagged an 80-year-old Palestinian-American man who died in their custody. What the news outlets, like BBC or CNN, won’t tell you is that the IDF subjected Omar Assad to severe torture, which led to his death.

The IDF refused to prosecute the two soldiers directly responsible for the murder of an American citizen. Goes to show how much Israel respects our citizens.

Torturing an 80-year-old Palestinian man, even if a U.S. citizen, is just routine for Israel.

Once again, the Biden Administration is sinking to new lows in its attempt at deceiving the voters.

WHAT DOES IT EXACTLY MEAN?

Let us ask ourselves, what does it exactly mean for the Pentagon to sanction a unit of the IDF. How is that possible in light of the fact the United States sends Israel money and weapons, not the IDF, or its specific units.

Will the U.S. send inspectors to monitor that unit to make sure it does not receive U.S. weapons, or that it is funded by Israel, and not U.S. taxpayers? Or, will the United States send a drone to hover over that murderous IDF unit to make sure the bullets it fires are not made in the U.S.?

Wait, we know now how the U.S. is going to enforce that sanction. Antony Blinken is going to ask UNRWA to play Inspector Clouseau.

No, seriously, will someone, please, explain how is that going to work because, from our end, all we see is one big charade. A farce by Molière in which asinine laughter is the aim.

Once again, the Biden Administration is sinking to new lows in its attempt at deceiving the voters. There is nothing Biden will not do to lie, cheat, and pretend. Absolutely nothing.

Folks, Biden is as much a genocidal maniac as Benjamin Netanyahu has always been, and no one should ever forget that truth.
