Sensible Policies Are Not Communist Policies

It has become a standard operating procedure for the extreme far right in this country to label Democrats as Marxists and Communists. Just because they are willing to pass legislation to help protect our country from racists, insurrectionists, and anti-semites. The same goes for any American trying to protect their families from the runaway lawless capitalism as big corporation have a free and unregulated hand to squeeze the middle class for every penny of their hard earned income. Or, in the case of Fox Network, to lie to them ad nauseam. Sensible policies are not Communist policies; nor are the people pressing Congress to pass laws to provide universal health are Marxists and Communists. Is Canada a Communist country because it provides universal healthcare for free?

The extreme far right has been fear mongering the average uneducated citizen ever since we have become witness to the rise of the Progressive Movement. A movement that would not exist if it was not for lawless capitalism.

Apparently, Marco Rubio does not mind if domestic terrorists storm the Capitol again.

SENATOR RUBIO, SPARE US YOUR BS

When Congress passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act, a bill to protect us from future insurrectionists, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida called them “marxists (sic) & left-wing extremists”.

Senator Marco Rubio, spare us the BS of your Tweet. If we do not go after racists and extreme insurrectionists, we would become a fascist country. That’s a fact. Look no further than Mar-a-Lago in your own backyard. Home to your Fuhrer.

Next on the agenda of these extremist Republicans, and BS’ers par excellence, is to accuse anyone who wants sensible gun control of Marxism and Communism too. A label that would stick to 90% of Americans demanding better gun controls or even a total gun ban.

For someone with 4.3 million followers, Rubio’s tweet garnered only 2,232 Likes. A clear indication that most of his Republican followers disagree with him on this issue. Apparently, Rubio does not mind if domestic terrorists storm the Capitol again. But his followers seem to object.

By the way, Rubio, where is your outrage at the Uvalde massacre? How come you tweeted nothing substantial to protect Floridians from any future attacks?

DEMOCRATS NEED TO RESPOND TO THE EXTREME RIGHT LABELING

Democrats are failing miserably with their message against the far right. While the accusation of “Marxism and Communism” is sticking, the counter punch to such audacity is nothing more than “Oh no, you’re wrong”.

I don’t know who is responsible for the DNC message, but their people are doing a terrible job responding to far right labels. Is it because they want the Progressives weak enough to control their agenda? Possibly.

The infantile and mostly uneducated back country Republicans are lapping these accusations up like kittens to milk. They truly believe that Medicare for all is Communism. Or that protecting ourselves from future insurrectionists, just as we protected ourselves from the Muslim extremists with the Patriot Act, is Marxism.

Tell that to Canada, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and all of the European countries which all have free universal healthcare. Tell it to their people who own no guns, and kill no children while at schools. Is that Communism?

According to most far right Republicans, the Freedom Caucus, The Heritage Foundation, and the Federalist Society, they all are. Just because Marco Rubio and his extremist kind said so.
