Führer Donald Trump and GOP Senator Mike Rounds have sparred viciously recently over who won the 2020 elections. As more fissures appear in the wall of lies Trump built around his election loss and the propagating of the Big Lie, it seems that more and more Republican Senators are coming out against his lies. We may be witnessing the beginning of the end of Donald Trump. The more GOP politicians abandon the Führer, the harder he falls.
There is much to celebrate about Trump’s possible upcoming demise. For his crimes against our country, he must be locked up sooner than later. Or else, we lose our sanity and our country to a fascist man with little to show for than his immensely grotesque personality. No one can afford Trump to rise again. Not our Constitution, not our democracy, and not the people of this young nation.
This kind of va-et-vient is necessary to break Trump’s fingers, thus his choke hold on the Republican Party.
THIS AIN’T A FAMILY FEUD
It all started when Senator Rounds told ABC News show “This Week”:
This did not sit well with the Führer, who responded with his usual name-calling diatribes, which have become his undignified signature responses to those who deny him his Big Lie.
But instead of folding, like the dastardly Ted Cruz folded on Fox News lately, Rounds doubled up on the truth by stating:
This kind of va-et-vient is necessary to break Trump’s fingers, thus his choke hold on the Republican Party. One that is full of cowards only looking out for themselves. But thanks to Senator Mitt Romney, Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, and now Senator Rounds, Trump’s wall is beginning to crack.
Even Mitch McConnell weighed-in in defense of Rounds. Trump’s wall of lies is slowly crumbling.
Republicans are beginning to greenlight Trump’s indictment for high treason and sedition. Both Biden and Garland should jump on that opportunity.
IF ONLY MERRICK GARLAND CAN MUSTER SOME CHUTZPAH
This is the time for the Biden Administration to move in for the kill. Republican Senators, like Mike Rounds and Mitch McConnell, are sending signals for President Biden to act decisively to indict Trump for treason.
So far, though, Biden and Garland are ignoring these signals.
Whether some cunning Democrats think this is a bad idea or not remains a mystery because so far, it seems this administration is happy letting Trump divide further the GOP. Some may think Trump unhinged can only help the Democratic Party. However, the goal is not the re-election of the Democrats. The goal is the safety of our democratic institutions that Trump is laying siege to with his constant cruel attacks. This cannot be a good thing. Not by a mile.
So, if Biden’s re-election is the source of his reluctant behavior to indict Trump, then we should voice our concerns. A President cannot look out for himself before protecting the country first.
If Merrick Garland, however, can muster some Chutzpah to show he is pursuing Trump to lock him up, then more Republicans would speak out against Trumps’ lies. Garland, so far, seems uninterested in letting the public know about his intentions by taking the solid steps of demonstrating his resolve to indict Trump.
We must relegate Trump and his kind to the dust bins of history.
Republicans are beginning to greenlight Trump’s indictment for high treason and sedition. Both Biden and Garland should jump on that opportunity.
Now. Before Trump finds his footing with another lie.
