During this dangerous Trump era, the U.S. is going through its own Republican American Inquisition experience that makes medieval monks look saintly. In addition to spreading falsehood through the Great Replacement Conspiracy, which provides the white supremacists the legal right to inflict pain and death on people of color we all saw in Buffalo, we also have the on-going mental torment represented by banning the Critical Race Theory from classrooms, which details the ugly history of some of the worst ancestral white Protestants people in this country.

In short, America is living through the hell of a new era of a Republican American Inquisition experience the likes of which is tearing this country apart.

A NEW PROTESTANT CHURCH

The Catholic Church administered the Inquisition when it first chased down the Catharists and the Waldensians in the 12th century; just as the Republicans are now chasing the African-Americans and the LGBQ communities. Eventually, the Inquisition, indirectly, helped usher a Protestant movement in the Church, and the extreme branch of the Protestant Church of today, which is administering the Republican American Inquisition might also split Christianity again.

Many in the LGBT community, the blacks across this land, and the liberal women movements, which oppose the overturning of Roe. vs. Wade are also Christian Protestants. Because of the rise of this new Christian nationalism in the Republican Party emulating the Spanish Inquisition, many Americans may find solace in a different branch of Christianity than the one attacking their rights.

It is only a question of time before they become aware that their brand of Christianity convincingly looks more and more like the Islamists in ISIS or the Taliban.
