It is not just Arab-Americans, or Gen Z, or Irish-Americans, but even US soldiers are objecting to Israel’s terror. In a poignant article by and of NBC News, two U.S. Air Force service members, Larry Herbert Jr. and Juan Bettancourt, were interviewed for their objections to Israel’s onslaught on the Palestinian civilians in Gaza. In addition to the illegal U.S. role in facilitating the genocide in Palestine.
Both are expressing their dismay by seeking the status of consciousness objector, which would permit them to obtain an honorable or general discharge.
This is not the first man we see our armed forces express dismay at the U.S. policy with regard to directly murdering innocent civilians. In February, Aaron Bushnell, also in the U.S. Air Force, immolated himself outside the Israeli Embassy in one of the most extreme act of opposition against the complicity of the U.S. military in the Gaza Genocide.
Bushnell remains a worldwide symbol of resistance against a country the American Zionist billionaires have completely hijacked.
In fact, we believe, that after the Gaza Genocide ends, there will be reckoning for the unconscionable behavior of our military as many now see it as subservient to Israeli terror and Israeli interests only.
AMERICA NO LONGER BELONGS TO AMERICANS
As Americans, our loyalty to our country should be unquestionable even if we disagree with its policies. But ever since the rise of the power of organizations like AIPAC, Americans have totally lost control of their country. It no longer belongs to them. A few hundreds of Zionist billionaires, through AIPAC, have redirected American power to serve only the country of Israel.
Through their control of the U.S. media, the American people are fed a healthy dose of pro-Israel propaganda, while Israel commits the most heinous crimes equal to those of Nazi Germany. Those on the inside, like Herbert and Bettancourt, no longer can accept the notion of America’s disregard for international and human rights laws in the face of Joe Biden’s complicity in the genocide of Gaza.
Between Aaron Bushnell, Major Harrison Mann, a Jewish intelligence officer who quit because Gaza echoed the Holocaust, Larry Herbert, and Juan Bettancourt, the U.S. military is demoralizing its members. It is not easy for tens of thousands of U.S. military personnel to sit with folded arms while our military commits genocide with Israel. In fact, we believe, that after the Gaza Genocide ends, there will be reckoning for the unconscionable behavior of our military as many now see it as subservient to Israeli terror and Israeli interests only.
Even US soldiers are objecting to the way Israel is conducting its fish-in-a-barrel war on the innocent civilians of Gaza.
If that quote by Herbert does not send electricity down the spine of our military by demoralizing it, nothing else will.
“WRONG THING WHILE EVERYONE IS WATCHING”
In the NBC News article, Doyle and Kube quote Herbert as saying one of the wisest quotes we read since the genocide in Gaza started. The quote deals with how the U.S. military instills good values into their soldiers that the top brass ignores when it comes to Israel.
Herbert said:
Bingo!
If that quote by Herbert does not send electricity down the spine of our military, nothing else will. Any U.S. soldier reading what Herbert said would feel the burden and the pain that their commander-in-chief, Joe Biden, is inflicting on our troops.
There is no escaping the lethal demoralizing consequence of Gaza on the esprit de corps of our military.
