Three police officers from the Crawford County Sheriff department have been suspended pending an investigation after beating a black man senseless. In Arkansas, the refusal to submit to police beatings is now a felony offense. We are not kidding you folks. This is how violent and illegal policing has become in this country, which is mostly directed at black people. Instead of lynching, Arkansas is now part and parcel of breaking apart black families by inventing laws against black men no one ever heard of before. Once you watch the video below, you cannot but think there is something wrong with this nation its politicians are unwilling to contain the violence of its police force.
What was the crime the 27-years old Randall Worcester has committed? He spits on a clerk of a convenience store. In addition to his refusal to submit to police beatings, the police also charged him with “Terroristic Threats”. That’s Arkansas for “We don’t know what the hell we are doing, but it sounds dangerous”.
If anyone committed an act of terrorism, these three policemen did. Does anyone doubt these policemen in Arkansas beat their wives and children too? All three should be admitted to the nearest asylum. Violent men like these unnamed men should never be carrying guns legally, or policing the streets. They are a bunch of cowards who take their anger on unarmed and helpless people. Remember Uvalde? The same fabric.
There is no way, after watching the video, these three officers have not beaten their wives and kids before.
THIS IS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
The department of Justice should take over this investigation because in Arkansas, cronyism is as rampant as police stupidity is. These three men will walk free if the Civil Rights Division of the Department does not take control of the investigation.
If they do walk, they would violently kill someone next time. As sure as the cowardice of the Uvalde police force.
When will police brutality end? Although the response of the Sheriff’s office has been swift in starting an investigation, suspension is not enough. It is a form of paid vacation. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department is rewarding these three officers if their investigation does not end with an indictment.
Because if exonerated, these three cowards will go back to policing as if nothing happened. And because their department, so far, refuses to release their names, the public will never know who are these violent policemen. The next time around, they might kill an innocent man if they remained on the force.
ProPublica should look into investigating this matter further, and looking into their backgrounds for other signs of violence and corruption. There is no way, after watching the video, these three officers have not beaten their wives and kids before.
Their actions are those of psychotic and mentally unstable people.
