Here it goes again. Another shooting of an unarmed black man by police officers whose concern for life is of little consequence to their mental state, their training, or their own self-interests. A Shreveport, Louisiana police officer chased an unarmed Alonzo Bagley on foot and delivered a deadly single bullet to his chest. And even though it is early to know what race is the killer police officer was, there is no stopping KKK infiltration of police departments.
Especially in the south where it is a generational badge of honor for white folks to kill black people for becoming the cause célèbre behind their loss of a civil war.
While we are in the early stage of the investigation, you better believe that the police officer’s union has already sprung to action to protect the brutal officer and excuse his violence with the usual claim that the public does not appreciate the risks police officers take everyday. In other words, blah, blah, blah.
Why become a police officer if one complains about the risks? This is like a student doctor who complains their education is too hard.
Maybe we should trust our educators to hire police officers. At least, educators understand the mindset of people who truly want to serve their communities.
TRADE HANGING NOOSE FOR A BADGE
As we said it before, low IQ white racists have determined that it’s better to trade a hanging noose the law will no longer tolerate with a badge and a gun to continue lynching the black people in this country. A racist police officer whose fathers and grandfathers wore white robes with hoodies, and burned crosses, can continue the tradition while hiding behind the law.
But the law, from the headlines ever since the murder of George Floyd, has been holding violent police officers accountable. So, what gives. Why do homicidal police officers think they could get away killing unarmed black men? Is it a case of utter stupidity? Or, is it a case of police officers who cannot help themselves? Just like a drunkard whose kidney is failing, yet, he continues on his journey of self-mutilation.
Police reform is a multi-step process involving complex issues. But it really starts with hiring the right people. Unless those who hire have also ancestral kin to honor by cold murdering unarmed black men.
Maybe we should trust our educators to hire police officers. At least, educators understand the mindset of people who truly want to serve their communities. They can pick the right candidates from the mentally deranged who believe wearing a badge is a license to kill at will.
Police reforms starts with hiring real civil servants willing to serve. Not some veteran whose trigger happy training leaves behind a trail of agony and torment for the bereaved families.
