First, don’t believe what the media sells you. We are not talking about the Russian one, but here the one at home in the United States. American editors tend to temper our jubilation or outrage by embellishing or deprecating the news. Especially when it comes to today’s White House and its slow and indecisive response to the war in Ukraine. Folks, unless the Russians kill Vladimir Putin, this war in Ukraine will continue unabated. It’s either Putin or the Ukraine, as far as we see because Biden is not going to win this war if left on his own.
Unfortunately, in the White House today lives the most indecisive U.S. President in modern history, which is not such a bad virtue to have in times of peace, but Russia has forced Joe Biden to become a war President. In wars, indecisiveness is your worst enemy, and Biden is just now starting to understand how unfit he is to make decisions about life and death.
At every turn, Joe Biden stumbled on Ukraine, and every time the media covered his indecisiveness.
SKEPTICISM GALORE
Since the beginning of the war, each request by Ukraine for more sophisticated and powerful weapons was met with skepticism at the White House and its not-too-far-from-the-tree NSC children. Only to come to the same conclusions, after a while, and admitting that Ukrainian demands were reasonable and quite necessary.
When Ukraine requested air defenses back in May of 2022, this White House ignored them. But when the Russians began bombing their civilian infrastructure, Biden came to the same conclusion as the Ukrainian military that they sorely needed some solid air defense systems. Now, we are training them on the Patriot systems in the U.S. in anticipation of supplying the powerful defensive missiles to the Ukraine military. That’s eight months too late.
Then the Ukraine military asked for armored vehicles, and guess what. The NSC, led by Jake Sullivan, demurred. Today, the U.S. is supplying the Bradley armored vehicles to Ukraine because suddenly the White House realized Ukraine cannot dislodge Russia through defensive means and long-range artillery only.
At every turn, Joe Biden stumbled on Ukraine, and every time the media covered his indecisiveness. President Zelensky could have won this war back in September if everyone listened to his pleas.
As far as we are concerned, we will probably be writing about the war in Ukraine in 2023 and 2024. Only a new more decisive President can end this war if Putin remains alive.
UNLESS RUSSIANS KILL PUTIN
With our President at the helm making as few decisions as possible to win the war in Ukraine, it becomes obvious that the Russians have to kill Vladimir Putin for this war to end. Today, the Russians are throwing mercenaries to conquer key strategic areas. Considering how poor Russia is and considering its endless supply of men to fight for serious money paid for by billionaire oligarchs, this war will continue for quite some time.
In the meantime, no one is learning at the NSC as every decision is made while taking into consideration the response of Vladimir Putin. No one has told Jake Sullivan that Putin is wounded and weak. His options are not using his nuclear arsenal he knows it would end badly for Russia, but his options are to find a way to intimidate this White House to win this war. So far, as the war drags on, Putin seems to be winning that battle.
As far as we are concerned, we will probably be writing about the war in Ukraine in 2023 and 2024. Only a new more decisive President can end this war if Putin remains alive.
