US Soft Power Is Losing Steam

US Soft Power Is Losing Steam

Thanks to Joe Biden and his shortsightedness in facilitating the genocide of the Palestinian people under an extreme apartheid system, the US soft power is losing steam across the globe. It is becoming almost as impotent as the attempts to change the stubborn mind of this President. There are many political and diplomatic signals showcasing the impotency of the US soft power thanks to Israeli terror and obstinacy.

None was more obvious than 153 countries around the world standing shoulder-to-shoulder with peace by voting for a ceasefire. On the other side of the spectrum, the United States found itself, along with the Republics of Nauru and the Marshall Islands, defending its policy of helping the Israeli genocide against Gaza.

Another signal of US soft power losing steam are the trips that Antony Blinken has to take to appease our allies revolting against Biden. Since October 7, 2023, Blinken has visited 26 countries, a few of them, like Israel, on many occasions.

The more the United States supports Israeli violence, the less it takes to persuade other countries to foster a new world order.

IRREVERSIBLY DAMAGING TIMING

As the United States cocks its gun to confront a new threat rising on the horizon in the amalgamation of the BRICS+ nations aiming to change our economic and political world order, the timing could not be worse. Not only six more nations are joining BRICS+ on January 1, 2024, but there is a long wait list of other countries who applied to join.

Of those who wish to join, Argentina, Mexico, Indonesia, and Turkey are eye-openers. One is a NATO country, one borders the United States, one is delivering all of South America on a platter as Brazil is already a BRICS+ nation, and one brings a powerful Muslim nation into the BRICS+ fold. The moment they join, the US and Europe would be the losers in that equation.

The more the United States supports Israeli violence, the less it takes to persuade other countries to foster a new world order. One without American and Israeli colonizing violence, all emanating from European settlers.

As America loses the Arab street because of its extreme policies in support of Israel, China, and Russia are gaining it.

WHAT DO ARABS THINK?

FIKRA Forum, an initiative of the pro-Israel Washington Institute for Near East Policy, writes in one of its papers:

In short, among these six key Arab publics, America is losing compared to its opponents because of the war in Gaza. The percentage of Arabs who believe America has a positive role in the war amounts only to 7%, with figures as low as 2% in countries like Jordan. By contrast, the percentage of Arabs who say that China has a positive role in the conflict included 46% in Egypt, 34% in Iraq, and 27% in Jordan. Positive views of Russia are even higher; the percentage of those who believe that Russia has a positive influence neared half—averaging 47% among the publics surveyed (except in Palestine). FIKRA continues:

The US veto stands in sharp contrast to the values it professes to uphold. By continuing to provide diplomatic cover for the ongoing atrocities in Gaza, the US is signaling that international humanitarian law can be applied selectively—and that the lives of some people matter less than the lives of others.FIKRA Forum by Munqith Dagher, Karl Kaltenthaler - November 21, 2023

As America loses the Arab street because of its extreme policies in support of Israel, China, and Russia are gaining it. Both countries now own the hearts and minds of Arabs. This is how damaging a violent Israel has become to US interests. Yet, America refuses to grasp that reality.

Israel will never see peace again.

US SOFT POWER IS LOSING STEAM

Besides its soft power, the US is losing its credibility as well. How could Biden apply the notion of human rights selectively and expect the world to understand his posture? How could the lives of the Palestinians be worth less than the European Zionist settlers? Many of whom are terrorizing innocent women and children. That’s not a behavior worthy of calling the US a democracy. Violence against civilians never is.

The US is going to pay a hefty price for the mistakes Joe Biden is making. He is beginning to understand it, but it is too late. The damage is done, and his legacy as a terrible president is set in stone. Gaza buried Biden’s reputation.

Who else is paying a price is Israel, as well. The Israelis are angry over October 7. They are not seeing the consequences of their terror yet. We expect them to do in the months ahead. We expect many to see how wrong they were to trust the genocidal Netanyahu with their affairs.

But, it is too late. Israel will never see peace again. It will always be on its guard, spending billions in the process. All because of its extremely violent war on Gaza.

Hey, Biden, are you still napping, you old fool? Zzzzzz.
