GOP House Members Are Angry at the FBI For Insurrection Indictments

It seems that House members of the Republican Party are carrying out the hate mongering, long a trademark of the previous President, well into the future. It seems that the GOP House Members are angry at the FBI mostly because the intelligence agency is aggressively pursuing to indict the insurrectionists of January 6. Their kind of people. You know, the ones that stormed the Capitol and caused the death of many and the injuries of over 130 Capitol Police officers. “How dare the FBI come after our ilk”, they must be still reasoning?

In an article by Ken Dilanian for NBC News, he writes:

The GOP House Members are following in the footsteps of the previous President. They are ever so angry at the idea that the government is paying attention to domestic terrorists, which are often their constituents and voter base.

Our country is suffering from the rise of fascist mediocrity to high positions of power.

In another story juxtaposed to Ken Dilanian’s, Pete Williams, also of NBC News, writes:

Now, one can understand the GOP grilling of our intelligence agencies. They screwed up by supporting an unpopular President, and they are trying to intimidate the FBI and the CIA by playing their white supremacist cards. When they don’t respect our democratic institutions, none deserve our respect. No GOP who backed Trump deserves a break. Especially when their own constituents stormed the Capitol to attempt to interrupt the peaceful transfer of power.

If we have to measure the quality of our Congress compared to previous ones, we are living in the medieval age today. We have the absolute worst politicians in both Houses. Think Marjorie Taylor Greene, think Josh Hawley, and never forget Cancun Cruz. Think Mitch McConnell, think Ron Johnson, and never forget Lauren Boebert.

Many GOP House Members who are attacking the FBI today, as their old boss did while in office, may yet become a target of a larger investigation into January 6.

A BIGGER INVESTIGATION IS YET TO COME

If the Biden Administration does not timidly avoid the full investigation of GOP House and Senate Members who played a role in organizing, funding, and inciting the insurrection, we might as well change our history books to read: “The Confederate Army Defeated and Invaded the North”. Because this is how it looks like to an outside independent observer. It looks like the North never won the civil war as the South now overwhelmingly control Lincoln’s Party, and as we watch everyday the police lynching of black people.

If the President does not wimp out in the name of bipartisanship, then many of those grilling the FBI today might face justice if we delve deeply into what truly happened before, during, and after the insurrection. Who are the real leaders of this blatant attack on our democracy? We still have no clue who, what, when, and where with regard to the actual leaders behind the insurrection. Except for the tidbits that were obvious watching our screens.

Let us all hope President Biden follows through with unmasking the traitors in our midst. Let us hope we know the whole truth pretty soon.
