The Faces of Barbarism in the US Congress

In this 116th Congress, one can find new faces that represent the very same Insurrectionists and terrorists who stormed the Capitol on January 6. They are Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO). Let us not mince any words here, both Greene and Boebert represent the faces of barbarism in the US Congress. Hardly sworn in, both face huge backlash for their politics, and conspiracy-laden mindset that encourages fringe and dangerous ideologies.

This might be one of the easiest Blog to research, but also the hardest to write. I don’t know where to start it and where to finish it. Both of those Representatives have already established their bad images in matter of days after swearing to uphold the Constitution. Does demonizing fellow Americans, because of their different ideologies, patriotic enough for those two Congresswomen?

QANON FREAKS

One common denominator between the two faces of barbarism is their belief in the QAnon conspiracy, which, if you read about it, is sure to make those mentally sane amongst us cringe with disgust and incredulity. Welcome to the crazy cultists Donald Trump left us with. Welcome to the followers of Charles Manson brandishing their weapons inside the halls of Congress.

In brevity, they are so mainstream today that voters, as misinformed or as crazy, selected them to represent their voices. If America is a shining beacon on the hill, those two Congresswomen are the clowns dousing the light with a fire extinguisher. Truly, they are the faces of barbarism in the US Congress.

If you want to know how cult-driven and crazy these women are, consider how @Twitter suspended the account of Greene for 12 hours after she called on Trump supporters to “mobilize and make your voices heard“. So what, you say? She did it before Biden was sworn in as the 46th President. How mentally deranged must one be to double down on causing riots after the Insurrection of January 6 and on the day of Joe Biden’s inauguration? Folks, these women are not normal.

Is there a law that forbids someone to run for office if mentally incapacitated? If none exits, we should have these laws in place. If you don’t pass the rigorous tests the official congressional shrink administers, you are out.

To add insult to injury, Boebert boasts a rap sheet to humble Al Capone. Can someone tell me please how could such a person run for office in the first place?

GOING TO WAR IN THE HALLS OF CONGRESS

Undoubtedly, I am not done yet showing you how mentally incompetent these two Congresswomen are. Rep. Boebert made a whole show of herself brandishing her handgun around her waist and claiming she intends to carry it inside Congress. Inside the very chamber where 435 other representatives meet to deliberate and vote. Folks, these are the faces of barbarism in the US congress.

Call me crazy, but is this normal behavior? Is this the act of a sane and competent woman? Where does she think she is? In a Safari in Africa hunting for black people? When Speaker Pelosi heard about it, she installed metal detectors, which now forces ever representative to go through them. Wasting valuable time in line instead of doing their job. How is that for a gift from this stupid woman?

The day Boebert could not go through the detectors unless she left her weapon with the Capitol Police, she became enraged. She refused to surrender her handgun at first until she realized she would have no access to the chamber. In response, she told the Denver Post:

“It is a shame that Nancy Pelosi is trying to disarm Members of Congress in the very place that needed more protection on January 6″

Rep. Boebert forgot to mention that it was the crazy QAnon conspiracy followers who stormed the Capitol. Her kind. I can assure you she was not seeking protection from her own kind. She is just not smart enough to say the right thing.

In my opinion, this Congresswoman is not normal. She will be kicked out of Congress sooner than later, and so will Marjorie Greene.

People, please tell me what is wrong with America. Congress has turned into a twilight zone.
