The Most Despicable Politician in Modern American History

Not many have earned the title of the most despicable politician in modern American history, but in my book, Mitch McConnell tops the list. In 2012, the Rolling Stone magazine published a list of the worst 10 modern-day Members of Congress most of whom caught stealing or getting bribes. McConnell did not make the list because his crimes against the poor and the middle class is not so obvious. What Mitch McConnell is doing today is far worse than one can imagine.

Personally, I believe he is driving our nation towards a deadly revolution.

The income and net worth inequality in our nation has reached gargantuan proportions.

UNDERSTAND THE EVIL OF MITCH MCCONNELL

In order to understand his evil deeds, one has first to understand the economic demographics of this nation. Here are some small facts to drive a point or two:

• 25% of white heterosexual males control 80% of US politics and economy. They are angry because they used to control 90%.
• The 3 richest men in America own as much as the bottom 50% of Americans.
• Richest American in 2019 is worth 21 times as much as in 1982.
• Richest 1% of Americans hold half the stocks and less than 5% of debt.
• Bottom 90% of Americans hold 80% of the debt.
• In 2016, a median white family’s net worth was $146,000. A black family was $3,500.

The income and net worth inequality in our nation has reached gargantuan proportions. All due to Reaganomics that turbo-charged the possibilities for white America while designing a system to keep everyone else struggling; to include race and religious minorities. Reagan designed the most transformative wealth shift in American history, which slowly decimated the middle class and made the poor poorer.

The most despicable politician in modern history is attempting, through legislation, to drive the income inequality to a breaking point.

MITCH MCCONNELL HAS ACCESS TO UNPARALLELED DEMOGRAPHIC INTELLIGENCE

The ex-majority leader of the Senate has access to more demographic data and intelligence than any average American could dream of obtaining. From the tiny sample data I listed above, it is clear that the middle class demise will continue unabated, yet, Mitch McConnell ignores it in favor of enriching the richest people even more by passing only legislation that helps White Anglo-Saxon Protestants control more wealth in this country.

It is what the previous one did with his Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which should have been called Make the Rich Richer Act.

So, how did 25% of white heterosexual male lose a small portion of their command of the economy if McConnell is rigging the system in favor of the white rich people, you ask?

Birth rates are higher for the minorities, like the Latino and the black communities, than for the whites, which shifted the economic balance slightly to non-white population. It is not due to more individual wealth but mostly because of more labor in the market earning more dollars per capita. The growth in population of black and brown people gave them a higher control of the labor dollars flowing into the economy thus diminishing white control of the economy.

Furthermore, Biden’s attempt to tax the rich to pay for the Infrastructure Bill is not going anywhere as along as he insists on bipartisanship.

LOW WAGES AND TAXING THE RICH MATTERS

This economic shift due to higher numbers of blacks and Latinos entering the economy is not sitting well with Mitch McConnell. He wants his ilk to regain their 90% footing even if that means poorer Americans in the process. Ergo, the $7.25 a dollar an hour needle is not moving anytime soon. The alternative, at $15 dollar an hour, shifts the economic needle further into the B&B column (Black and Brown) and less so to corporations. $15 an hour means less dividends to the 25% who control the majority of the stocks in this country.

The most despicable politician in modern history is attempting, through his nefarious legislation tactics, to drive the income inequality to a breaking point by blocking the corrective political and economic measures President Biden is championing through legislation like the Infrastructure Bill and the American Families Act. Both would create more balance between the wealthy top 10% of Americans, 98% of them white, and the middle class and the poor.

TAXING THE RICH? DON’T MAKE ME LAUGH

Furthermore, Biden’s attempt to tax the rich to pay for the Infrastructure Bill is not going anywhere as long as he insists on bipartisanship. This wimpy approach to Mitch McConnell who flatly stated that “One hundred percent of my focus is standing up to this administration“, means Biden will not be able to do much the next four years even while controlling all the levers of power at least until 2022.

By 2046, the non-Hispanic whites would become a minority, which is most alarming to those who are in power today.

THERE IS CAPITALISM AND THEN THERE IS BREAKING POINT INEQUALITY

And who is going along with McConnell’s scheming? Senator Joe Manchin. Another despicable politician who has no business calling himself a servant of the people. He is anything but.

Our capitalist economy has pushed too far to even the playing field by creating an imbalance to demographic changes. There is capitalism and then there is breaking point income inequality. Mitch McConnell is oblivious to the long-term damage he is perpetuating upon our economy when we reach that breaking point. Maybe McConnell should ask the French what they learned from their history because, if he continues on his path to impoverish the people any further, he will end up becoming the history fall guy for something that began under Ronald Reagan.

Demographically speaking, this country is shifting fast. By 2046, the non-Hispanic whites would become a minority, which is most alarming to those who are in power today. But instead of finding a balancing act to include the minorities into the political and economic process as the Democrats have, the Republicans, like Mitch McConnell, are trying to stop the tide of time.

Every civilization reaches a breaking point when its poor and abandoned masses find themselves with their backs to the wall.

THE MOST DESPICABLE POLITICIAN

What is the long-term strategy of Mitch McConnell? To control so much wealth to paralyze the country without the whites controlling 90%? Or is it to insure that the bottom feeders of our economy, even with numbers on their side, can never gain enough traction to control their destiny? Something like the Apartheid South Africa was. If so, this means fascism will replace our democracy.

Everything is opaque today and no one has the prescient capacity to see that far in the future by 2046. But I know, for as much certainty as I can muster having read many books about the history of other civilizations, that ours will not survive the income inequality divide Mitch McConnell keeps pushing for. Every civilization reaches a breaking point when its poor and abandoned masses find themselves with their backs to the wall.

They usually end up breaking the whole system. Just ask any Romanov survivor.

Immigrants aside, the revolutionists are coming if McConnell remains a Senator.

MCCONNELL’S SLAVERY WAGES

And $7.25 an hour is a sure bet to make us reach this point. These are slavery wages that cannot sustain the poor any longer.

We must save ourselves from Mitch McConnell soon. The Senator knows what he is doing may break the country, but accumulating wealth for his kind is fundamentally more important.
