Joe Biden has his priorities upside down. In a scathing article by The Intercept, author Stephen Semler accuses Joe Biden of abandoning the American families in favor of funding foreign wars, specifically Israel and Ukraine. In Biden’s mind, Semler argues factually, foreign requests for funding are more serious and have the full attention of the president as compared to his social net agenda for the economically deprived. The article ultimate message? American families come before Israel and Ukraine, two distant wars sucking away tens of billions of U.S. dollars during times of hardship for tens of millions of Americans.
We could not agree more. Why America has to foot the bill for the terror of Israel while we cut down on social programs to help those that capitalism has devoured inhumanly?
If the Europeans want NATO to protect them from Vladimir Putin, let them fully foot the bill for that protection. The same is true for Israel. If Benjamin Netanyahu wants to kill civilians, let the American Zionist billionaires in the U.S. foot that bill. It’s their war, not the American people war.
Until then, ask your representatives the question: Why do our taxes go to pay for Israelis’ healthcare and education when our own families have the first rights?
MEDIA IGNORES. AMERICANS PERSIST
Not in your dream, you will read an article or a report in the New York Times, the Washington Post, or CNN questioning our financial support for Israel when Americans need the money here at home. More today than ever in the past. All these corporate titans fear the backlash that Zionist billionaires money hold over their heads like a Damocles sword.
So, at the expense of the American families, our media is completely complicit with an agenda that is anti-American.
If an Israeli needs an urgent operation in the U.S., they travel, free of charge, to the US and have all their bills paid for by Israel. The same with their higher education. Who foots that bill but our annual $4 billion assistance to Israel? Americans have to pay for their own healthcare and higher education, but Israelis do not, thanks mainly to US largesse. Our own taxes.
Not only does the United States fund Israel to wage wars on civilians, but we also fund it to have a much higher quality of life for their citizens than our own people at home.
No wonder, then, that Israel ranks 4th in the World Happiness Index, as compared to 15th for the United States. Israeli happiness comes at the expense of our own when our taxes go to pay for their healthcare and higher education.
This is an untenable situation, and it is only a matter of time before Americans wake up to how much Israel harms our interests, and how much money it steals for their own comfort, at our own expenses.
Until then, ask your representatives the question: Why do our taxes go to pay for Israelis’ healthcare and education when our own families have the first rights?
