Racists Here, Racists There, Racists Everywhere

Today, we come to learn of two incidents that truly showcase American racism in its ugliest of forms. An investigation of the Washington Football Team caught Jon Gruden, the Las Vegas Raiders coach, using racist and bigoted slurs against anyone who does not look or acts like him. From blacks, to gays, to even the NFL Commissioner himself. Another less known case is that of a Texas judge who openly hated Jews. Despite his despicable bias, judge Vickers Cunningham ruled over the fate of a Jewish defendant who may get a new trial. It’s one American story after another. Don’t you get the feeling that there are racists here, racists there, racists everywhere you look.

All brought to the surface by none other than Donald Trump the Klu Klux Klan Grand Wizard himself.

Remember the number of people who verbally attacked Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the anthem to protest police brutality? Then after the brazen murder of George Floyd by a racist and brutal police officer did some understand the reasons why. Well, the racists will never understand because in their core lies the ugly cruelty of one human scorning another inexcusably and in deference to their rights as humans.

We got lucky with the Jon Gruden exposure because he attacked the NFL Commissioner. It’s payback time for the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

WHAT ABOUT THE WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM?

The NFL is reading some 650,000 emails into an on-going sexual misconduct investigation of the Washington Football Team. It is in these emails that the NFL discovered and leaked Jon Gruden exchanging his racism with the now fired Bruce Allen whose role as the General Manager may have been conducive to the misconduct.

Why did the NFL not release the Bruce Allen emails as well responding to Jon Gruden? We still do not know how Bruce Allen, who was a big failure as GM, responded to these emails. Did he abstain from expressing similar views, or did he play along? We still do not know, and most likely, we will never know because the NFL is not about righting a wrong.

Others Jon Gruden may have emailed could very well be implicated as well. As a broadcaster with ESPN, he probably exchanged emails with other broadcasters, some of whom work for Fox Sports, and who may be just as racist if not worse. Hopefully, the New York Times, who first broke the story, will have access to other racists who are parading as all-American wholesome boys.

But will the NFL leak these emails? We got lucky with the Jon Gruden exposure because he attacked the NFL Commissioner. It’s payback time for the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. That does not mean, unfortunately, that the NFL is about to expose every racist white owner, coach, or executive.

Far from it, the NFL front office has most likely closed like a clam by now.

Antisemitism and racism in America are embedded in its DNA. Anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant, a racist, or antisemitic.

IN THE CASE OF VICKERS CUNNINGHAM

Eric Ortiz of NBC News wrote about another judge, Lela Mays, who investigated Cunningham for his prejudice:

Cunningham is the second judge the media caught parading their bias and hate against probably innocent Jewish Americans.

If the media caught two judges in one week, how many more go unnoticed thus polluting the judicial system with their bias and prjudices?

MEET MORE RACISTS IN JUDGE DONNA SCOTT DAVENPORT

This last week, ProPublica published a long story about another judge named Donna Scott Davenport of Rutherford County in Tennessee. This douche bag of a judge jailed black children for crimes that did not exist.

There is a third story here to contemplate between judges Cunningham and Davenport, which centers around the following question: How many unqualified racist judges our judicial system boast?

If the media caught two judges in one week, how many more go unnoticed thus polluting the judicial system with their bias and prejudices? It’s rather a fair question to ask. We must expose this country’s racism to save it from itself.

There is no place for antisemitism or racism in our society. Like the #MeToo movement, which successfully brought down powerful and ugly sexual predators, we must also support the movement to clean our justice system from racist and bigoted judges.
